Effective: 26 May 2026 · Last updated: 26 May 2026

MeProduce is a tool for photographers to track shoots, pitches, licences, and production paperwork. This policy explains what data we collect, why, where it lives, and what control you have over it. Plain English; no dark patterns.

Who we are

MeProduce is operated by Alex Sheridan, a sole trader based in Ireland. For any privacy questions, email support@meproduce.xyz.

What we collect

Account information

When you sign up we ask for an email address (or you can sign in with Google). This is handled by Clerk (our authentication provider) and includes your name as reported by Google if you sign in that way. We do not see or store your password.

Content you create in the app

Everything you input — job names, briefs, tasks, contacts, pitches, licences, shot lists, call sheets, notes, settings — is stored so we can show it back to you across your devices. We treat this as your data; we do not sell it, train models on it, or share it with anyone.

Files you upload

Logos, signatures, shot reference images, and documents (PDFs, images) you upload are stored in private storage tied to your account. Only you can access them through the app.

Anonymous usage analytics (optional)

If you leave analytics enabled in Settings, we record which features of the app you use — like “opened the Pitch Log” or “created a job” — to understand what is working and what is not. We do not send your content, file names, client names, or email address to our analytics provider. You are identified only by a random ID. You can turn this off any time in Settings → Privacy & feedback.

Where your data lives

How long we keep your data

We keep your content for as long as you have an account. If you delete your account, we delete your stored data and uploaded files within 30 days. Backups are rotated on a similar cycle.

Your rights

Under GDPR (and similar laws in other jurisdictions) you have the right to:

Email support@meproduce.xyz with any of these requests. We will respond within 30 days.

Who can see your data

In normal use of the app, only you can see your content. Row-level security at the database layer enforces this: when you sign in, the database only returns rows you own, and your files are walled off in a private folder.

As the operator of the service, I have administrative access to the database — this is true of any SaaS. I will not read your content casually. I may need to access it when:

Cookies and similar technologies

We use localStorage and cookies for the things that make the app work: keeping you signed in, remembering your theme, caching your data for fast loads. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Children

MeProduce is a professional tool not directed at children. If you are under 16, please do not use the service.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a material way (new data we collect, new providers, etc.) we will email account holders and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Trivial fixes — typos, clarifications — get the date updated without an email.
